Some discovered Delilah Holliday in 2018 thanks to B.E.D., an impeccably offbeat mini electro album co-written with Baxter Dury and Étienne de Crécy. Others already knew the young riot grrrl from her London-based punk act Skinny Girl Diet. As shown by her mixtape Lady Luck, Delilah Holliday also excels in soul/R&B. That same soulful vein runs through this excellent album, Collective Consciousness. Written in Sweden during a countryside stay with Neneh Cherry, this minimalist EP is powered by twisted trip-hop vibrations.
