While at this point you knew what to expect from a Kate Wolf album, it would be inaccurate to call her work formulaic. Her musical arrangements didn't vary all that much, but each of her compositions was carefully constructed and performed with commitment. That's true of all of the songs here, with occasional tracks (such as "Early Morning Melody") emerging as true standouts.
