Eine Hand Wäscht die Andere compiles 20 songs on which Sido was featured over the period of half a decade as he rose to prominence as one Germany's most successful rappers. While some of the inclusions are collaborative remixes of previously released Sido songs (e.g., "Rodeo," "Ein Teil von Mir," "Mama Ist Stolz"), most are songs from the albums of others on which Sido was featured as a guest. By no means a greatest-hits collection, Eine Hand Wäscht die Andere is a handy odds-and-ends compilation that boasts only a handful of great songs. If anything, it's a rarities collection that should interest completists above all. Highlights include "Verrückt Wie Krass," originally released on the Fler album Trendsetter (2006); "Geblendet vom Licht," a German-language remix of the Streets originally released on the Blinded by the Lights EP (2005); "Ein Teil von Mir," a collaborative remix featuring Russian rapper Seryoga of the song of the same name found on the Sido album Ich (2006); "Ostwest," originally released on the Joe Rilla album Aus der Platte auf die Platte (2005); "Badesong," a bizarre collaboration with U.S. rapper Khia (of the 2002 hit "My Neck, My Back") originally released on the DJ Tomekk album Numma Eyns (2005); "Fat Gold Chain," a collaborative remix of Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five's "The Message" featuring U.S. rappers Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz (of the 1998 hit "Déjà Vu [Uptown Baby]"); and "Samba," originally released on the B-Tight EP Der Neger (In Mir) (2002).
