Golden-voiced classical crossover star Jackie Evancho returns with Two Hearts, a two-disc studio album that combines lushly arranged adaptations of pop, classical, and film soundtrack fare with a handful of original songs co-written by the teenaged singer. Tracks like the "Attesa" from Italian composer Pietro Mascagni's opera Cavalleria rusticana and Enya's "May It Be" from the Lord of the Rings film trilogy fall safely within Evancho's established wheelhouse, while the inclusion of more contemporary pop songs like Taylor Swift's "Safe and Sound" and her decidedly pop-oriented original songs show the young singer branching out stylistically.
