Liberación's transition to a ballad group was complete by 1994, as the 12-track album contained only four cumbias. First single "Vuelve Mi Amor" ("Come Back My Love") boasts a beautiful keyboard introduction, but descends into bombastic formula. Vocalist Juan Tavares, who had previously stuck to interpreting ballads, sings two cumbias. The ballad mentality creeps into cumbias like "Para Siempre y Para Tí" ("Forever and For You") and the title track, which feature more complex hooks than their cumbias of yesteryear. The thumping ranchera "Dos Corazones" ("Two Hearts") shows the influence of banda music, which was peaking at the time. Another keeper is the guitar-heavy ballad "Doble Engaño" ("Doublecross"), a duet with Taveres and Jose Guadalupe Barrera that uses an unusually heavy backbeat.
