Monster! is the tenth album by long-standing German industrial rockers Oomph! Since their beginnings in 1989, Oomph! have largely stuck with their industrial sound of buzzsaw guitars, crashing drums, and harsh vocals; by the 2000s, however, they also began to expand their sound, with clean sung vocals, distinctive melodic choruses, and synth pop inflections. Monster, issued in 2008, was something of a summation of various facets of Oomph! sound: it was simultaneously heavy and melodic, brutal and elastic, guitar-oriented and synthetic. The first single "Wach Auf!" (Wake Up) wound on the soundtrack for Hollywood sequel Aliens vs Predator: Requiem.

Monster! is the tenth album by long-standing German industrial rockers Oomph! Monster, issued in 2008, was something of a summation of various facets of Oomph! sound: it was simultaneously heavy and melodic, brutal and elastic, guitar-oriented and synthetic. The first single "Wach Auf!" (Wake Up) wound on the soundtrack for Hollywood sequel Aliens vs Predator: Requiem.
