The debut album by Emma Marrone was winner of the 2010 edition of the popular talent show Amici. As it is often the norm with the many Amici graduates, the bulk of the material is the work of professional songwriters such as Antonio Galbiati, Roberto Casalino, and Dario Faini, typically designed to showcase the singer's vocal prowess and personality. A Me Piace Così was reissued after Emma's participation at the 2011 Sanremo Festival, adding the song she performed at the event with Modà, "Arriverà," as well as two new tracks written by Kekko.
