Orleans' close harmonies and fresh, sophisticated sound made them popular both with audiences and among their musical peers. Highlighting their melodic, twin guitar approach, which they borrowed from the Allman Brothers, as well as irresistibly commercial material like the peppy "Still the One" and the lush, gorgeous "Dance With Me," this collection also features soft rock classics like the delicate "Sails" and the East Coast group's hymn to their spiritual home of California, the smoothly jazzy "Golden State."
