Grace Davies

Grace Davies (February 1, 1997) is an English singer-songwriter who rose to the public eye after finishing runner-up on the fourteenth season of reality TV show The X Factor. Hailing from Blackburn, she auditioned for The X Factor in 2017 with her original song “Roots,” receiving four positive votes from the judges. Mentored by Sharon Osbourne, she made her way to the finals, coming in at second place after Rak-Su. Her involvement in the show helped Grace Davies land a recording contract with Simon Cowell’s Syco Music label, which released her debut single “Invisible” in January 2020. After issuing the singles “Addicted to Blue,” “Amsterdam,” and “Just a Girl,” Grace Davies unveiled her debut EP Friends with the Tragic in June 2020. Following Syco Music’s cease of operations in 2021, she continued her career as an independent artist with the singles “I Met a Boy Online,” “Iris,” “Testosterone,” and “Toothbrush,” all leading up to the release of her second extended play I Wonder If You Wonder. Also included in the EP was the single “Roots,” which climbed to Number 89 on the UK Singles Chart.
