Atlanta
Atlanta was a country band, naturally based in Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1983. The group consisted of Brad Griffis, Dick Stevens, Bill Packard, Allen Collay, Jeff Baker, Darrell "Boo Boo" McAfee, and Alan David. Four of the members had been in the Vogues. Atlanta scored the first of its nine country hits with "Atlanta Burned Again Last Night" in 1983. Its biggest hit was "Sweet Country Music," which hit number five in the country charts in 1984.
