Nadine
Nadine Beiler (who records using only her first name) is an Austrian pop singer best known for winning the third season of Starmania, Austria's pop casting show. She was born on May 27, 1990, and grew up in Inzing, Tyrol. Nadine began to sing at an early age and performed at various parties and weddings before she entered the Starmania contest in summer 2006. The 16-year-old girl won the show's season finale against 11 other contestants on January 26, 2007, singing Brenda Russell's "Get Here," Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and En Vogue's "Don't Let Go (Love)." Not even a month later, her debut single, the R&B ballad "Alles Was Du Willst" (Everything You Want), was released and reached number two on the Austrian Top 40, making Nadine the first Starmania winner not to reach number one. The single was produced by Alexander Kahr, who had also worked with Christina Stürmer and Luttenberger*Klug. Nadine's second single, "Was Wir Sind" (Who We Are), reached number 15, and in June 2007, her debut album, Komm Doch Mal Rüber (Come Over Here), was released, a mixture of uptempo R&B, dance songs, soul numbers, and ballads, entirely sung in German (one song was sung in Nadine's Tyrolean dialect).
