De Oostenrijkse schlagerzanger Semino Rossi verlaat in 1985 zijn geboorteland Argentinië in een poging om in Europa door te breken. Na een periode als straatmuzikant vestigt hij zich in Oostenrijk. Zijn grote doorbraak beleeft hij in Duitsland, waar hij vele muziekprijzen wint en verschillende gouden en platina platen in de wacht sleept. Het album Symphonie de Lebens wordt gekenmerkt door een romantische sfeer en is geproduceerd door Dieter Bohlen, die ook een groot deel van de songs schrijft. Daarnaast zijn op de plaat de evergreen "Besame Mucho", en een Spaanse versie van de Demis Roussos-hit "Goodbye My Love, Goodbye“ onder de titel "Adios Amor, Adios" te vinden.
