Ride Waves is the sixth studio album from EDM festival favorite GRiZ, who originates from the Detroit area but has since relocated to Denver. Like his previous two full-lengths, Ride Waves is an explosive set of uplifting tunes that marry dubstep and glitch-hop with funk and soul, proving that wobbly bass and saxophones can go hand in hand. This time, however, the hooks are bigger and more radio friendly, and so are the guest stars. Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, DRAM, Bootsy Collins, and Matisyahu all feature, while up-and-coming names such as BXRBER and Valentina also make memorable contributions. Following 2016's Good Will Prevail, Ride Waves is GRiZ's second album to chart in the Billboard 200.
