Singer David Linx and pianist-composer Diederik Wissels are musically supported by an artist of choice, Paolo Fresu, whose delicately hushed trumpet adds another colour to their music. Some themes are also due to Fresu in this album with careful and efficient arrangements by Wissels, and the instrumental parts are on a par with the vocal parts performed by David Linx. Intervening at the right times, Palle Danielson on double bass and Jon Christensen on drums provide a supple rhythm section that contributes to the success of this seductive ensemble which would be able to appeal to a wider audience than just jazz fans. Released in 2001 on Nemo/Emarcy-Universal, this album was reissued in 2019 on Tǔk Music, the label created by Paolo Fresu.
