This self-titled record is the second album by Austrian pop and schlager singer Allessa, released five years after her 2007 debut Samstag Nacht. Produced by Christian Zierhofer, the album features several songs co-written by German-Italian schlager veteran Nino de Angelo: "Warum Hab Ich's Dir Nicht Einfach Gesagt," "Te Ne Vai," and the record's first single, "Mein Herz." Allessa debuted at number 19 in the Austrian album charts.
