The Rock and Roll Playhouse

A touring event, the Rock and Roll Playhouse offers an immersive live music experience for families and children. Boasting both originals and effusive covers of classic pop songs, they released their debut album, Friends Rock!, in 2024. Founded in 2014 by noted concert promoter Peter Shapiro, the Rock and Roll Playhouse features a rotating group of musicians and performers. In children's pop tradition, they play a mix of pop, rock, and funk cover songs done in an inspiring and entertaining, yet always family-friendly, style. Along with live music, the group offers interactive games and activities targeting families and children aged ten and under. In 2024, they released their first album, Friends Rock!, which featured originals along with covers of songs by bands like the Beatles, Carole King, Queen, and more.
