Sam Kim

A successful guitarist, singer-songwriter, and producer, Sam Kim (Korean: 샘김; born 19 February 1998 in Seattle Washington) relocated to South Korea at the age of 15 to join the contestants on the third season of K-pop Star. After finishing as a runner-up on the show, he scored a deal with Antenna Music and debuted in 2016 with the I Am Sam EP, a collection of acoustic-led torch songs that brought together touches of R&B and folk. He followed the EP with debut full-length Sun and Moon in 2018, also released on Antenna Music and cracking the Top 30 in South Korea. Contained on the LP, "Make Up" featuring Crush became one of his best-known tracks while he also worked with ZICO on "It's You." Three years later he made it into the charts again with his track "Love Me Like That" for the soundtrack to South Korean television series Nevertheless, which starred Han So-hee, Song Kang, and Chae Jong-hyeop. He collaborated with South Korean singer and actor Yeri for the "Nap Fairy" (낮잠) single in 2022 and the following year released the "Say You Love Me" (그대라는 봄) track for the soundtrack to television series My Demon.
