Roxxxan
A husky-voiced MC out of Birmingham, England, RoxXxan first commanded attention with her hard-edged rhymes over live dubstep, grime, and drum’n’bass DJ sets. Championed by Mike Skinner (aka the Streets), she eventually signed to Polydor and made her official debut on the Shank soundtrack with the track “Heavyweight.” The same year, she appeared on the Streets' Cyberspace and Reds mixtape, while her debut album was in the works.
