Nico Rezende
Having been awarded the Sharp Prize as the best arranger of the year in 1990 and at the Cannes Festival three years later, Nico Rezende had success with compositions like "Perigo" (written with Paulinho Lima), "Noite" (with Jorge Salomão), "Transas" (with Paulinho Lima), "Amor Explícito" (with Antônio Cícero/Paulinho Lima), "Por Querer (Todas)" (with Marina/Antônio Cícero), and "Pseudo Blues" (with Jorge Salomão), having had his songs recorded by Marina Lima, Zizi Possi, Ritchie, and Simone, among others.
Nico Rezende was Ritchie's keyboardist in the early '80s, having also worked as an arranger for several other artists, like Roberto Carlos, Gal Costa, Lulu Santos, Simone, Barão Vermelho, and Zizi Possi. His first solo album was launched in 1987, having the hit "Esquece e Vem" (with Paulinho Lima), which was also the opening theme of the TV Globo soap opera. He also had success with "Pense Nisso Amanhã," "Natureza Viva," and "Além da Sedução" (with Cláudio Rabello).
