Light Pupil Dilate

Formed in Atlanta, GA, circa 2002, Light Pupil Dilate perform an arty blend of hardcore, metal, noise rock, and other disparate musical genres, and their only strict rule appears to be breaking every rule of conventional songwriting. The band released a self-financed debut album entitled Cascades in 2003, and then devoted much of the next two years to touring with likeminded genre-busting outfits such as Today Is the Day, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Kylesa, and Cream Abdul Babar, to name but a few. The trio, comprised of vocalist/guitarist Eric Searle, vocalist/bassist Mike Chvasta, and drummer Michael Green, recorded their sophomore LP, Snake Wine, in 2006 for release through Lifeforce Records the following year.
