Antonio Forcione
Italian guitarist Antonio Forcione has made his name by crossing genres of classical, jazz and comedy to create his unique style. He started performing at a young age, embarking on his first national tour at the age of 13. He studied the arts of harmony and mime in Rome before deciding on a move to London where he earned money and learned English by busking on the streets of Covent Garden. Noticed for his talent, he was asked to go on the road opening for rock band Barclay James Harvest. This set in motion a whirlwind of appearances and collaborations to come including Bobby McFerrin, Phil Collins, Jools Holland, Zucchero, Pino Daniele and Charlie Haden.
