Anti-G
Hailing from the Dutch city of Delft, Kenrick Connor (whose aliases include Kentje Onbekend, Kentje'sz Beatsz, and Anti-G) started working in an underground genre known as Bubbling House while in his late teens. Primarily made up of polyphonic blips and bassy digital beats, the style started becoming somewhat trendy in the ‘90s, but was overshadowed by mainstream avenues of electronic music like jungle and drum'n'bass. Almost two decades later, in the late 2000s, Connor started making beats under the name Anti-G, and took it upon himself to refresh the all but forgotten subgenre by updating it with elements of reggaeton, grime, and dubstep. In 2011, Planet Mu released a compilation of Anti-G's singles, titled Anti-G Presents Kentje’sz Beatsz.
