Anne Sophie Versnaeyen
Anne-Sophie Versnaeyen is a film and television composer based in Montreuil, France. She studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris, where she developed a passion for composing music for visuals. She has collaborated with composer Armand Amar since 2009, providing additional music, arrangements, and orchestrations. In 2021, she composed the music for "OSS 117 - Alerte Rouge en Afrique Noire", recorded in a classic jazz style at AIR Studios in London. One of her notable works includes the music for Nicolas Bedos' film "Mascarade", which was in the official selection of the Cannes Film Festival. She also composed the soundtrack for "La Belle Epoque", receiving numerous César Awards nominations. Versnaeyen's music often features unconventional formations of the orchestra, with a particular emphasis on the viola, an instrument she performs and records with.
