Alex Heffes
Like many British film composers, Englishman Alex Heffes studied at Oxford University. After collaborating on some twenty films with Simon Boswell, Alex Heffes made his solo debut with music for the short film The White Room in 1995. Alex Heffes went on to score films such as The Last King of Scotland (2006) and My Best Enemy (2007). In 2011, he won a World Soundtrack Award for Le Plus vieil écolier du monde (2010) and Le Rite (2011). He is back in 2013 with scores for Mandela, Long Walk to Freedom and Évasion (Escape Plan).
