Tyson Ritter

Born Tyson Jay Ritter on 24 April 1984 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, US singer, songwriter, actor and model Tyson Ritter rose to fame as the frontman and bassist of pop-punk favourites the All-American Rejects who formed in Oklahoma in 1999. They released their debut self-titled album in 2002 and another three studio albums followed. In 2007, Tyson Ritter landed a cameo role in the seventeenth episode of season three on the Fox TV series House and three further small screen roles in 90210 (2012), Betas (2013-14) and family comedy-drama television series Parenthood, kickstarting his solo music career in 2013 with the bracing alt-rock song "Air," which was featured on the show. It would be a number of years before he approached solo musicianship again, busying himself with acting roles on AMC series Preacher and Lodge 49. He also appeared in the John Cusack film Love and Mercy in 2014. He returned to music in 2021 to feature on the Lil Huddy single "Don't Freak Out," also featuring Iann Dior and Travis Barker and co-written by All American Rejects bandmate Nick Wheeler. The following year, he joined forces with guitarist Izzy Fontaine and keyboardist Scott Chesak to form a new band, Now More Than Ever, whose debut album, Creatrix, arrived in March 2023.
