Thomas Headon
Thomas Headon vaulted into viral stardom in 2019 with "Grace" and "Clean Me Up," a pair of affably scruffy indie pop tracks that showcased both his melodic chops and easy, youthful charm. Over the next few years, the British-born Australian began touring internationally and issuing a slew of independent singles and EPs including the 2021 hit "Dizzy" with fellow bedroom poppers Alfie Templeman and Chloe Moriondo. After signing with Warner Bros., he made his label debut with 2022's Victoria EP.
Headon was born in London on August 17, 2000, and spent his first five years in the U.K. before his family immigrated to Australia. As a teenager in Melbourne, he taught himself to sing and play guitar, taking cues from artists like the 1975, Harry Styles, and Coldplay. He built up a following on his YouTube channel and in 2019 released "Grace," a romantic pop song with a choppy, lo-fi beat and catchy hooks. Along with his second single, "Clean Me Up," "Grace" racked up millions of streams. He collected his early songs on the 2020 EP The Greatest Hits and followed it later that year with a second EP called The Goodbye.
Now based back in England, Headon began touring and helped expand his audience even further with 2021's "Dizzy," a successful collaboration between British artist Alfie Templeman and Detroit's Chloe Moriondo. The major labels soon came calling, and Headon joined the Warner Bros. roster ahead of the hooky "Strawberry Kisses" and "Nobody Has to Know," both of which appeared on his third EP, Victoria, released in March 2022.
