Ncredible Gang

Comedian/actor/rapper and minor celebrity Nick Cannon teamed with fellow rapper Itsamovie to form new project Ncredible Gang, named after Cannon's artists management company Ncredible Entertainment. Work first materialized from Ncredible Gang in the early summer of 2016 in the form of their "Snapchat (Getting Freaky)" single, an eerie and minimal meditation on hyper-sexualized social media presences. Output from Ncredible Gang was sporadic and largely informal, but Cannon brought the project back in late 2017 for new single "Dream Girl." This time out, Cannon was joined by Ty Money and Jeremih for a melancholic rumination on unsettled feelings for a past lover. There was speculation among fans that the song's regretful sentiments were aimed none too subtly at Cannon's ex-wife Mariah Carey. The song's comical video consisted of images of costumed dogs, well dressed and lip-syncing along. In 2018, Cannon and the Gang teamed with Fat Joe and DJ Luke Nasty for the summer bop "Only You" before issuing "Gettin' Freaky" with Itsamovie, "Hold On" with Sahyba, and "NoBody Else" with Ty Dolla $ign and Jacquees.
