Idioma disponible: inglésBorn in Worthing, West Sussex on June 29, 1982, multi-award-winning English composer Natalie Holt completed her professional training at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the National Film & Television School before kicking off her career composing music for short films, including the Royal Television Society award-winning short Friends Forever (2008). Also working simultaneously as a professional violinist, Natalie Holt was a member of the string quartet the RaVen Quartet who, in 2012, performed with Madness during the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony while also contributing to the late George Michael's Symphonica tour. That same year, Natalie Holt rose to prominence for her work on the Great Expectations score with Martin Phipps, earning a BAFTA nomination nod for Best Score. She worked again with Martin Phipps as a co-composer on the popular BBC drama series The Honourable Woman, jointly scooping the 2015 Ivor Novello Award for Best Television Soundtrack, as well as receiving another BAFTA nomination. In 2017, she co-scored the WW1 film Journey’s End with Oscar winner Hildur Guðnadóttir and went on to notch up credits for a glittering array of television series and films including Philippa Lowthorpe's award-winning BBC drama series Three Girls (2017), 2020 ITV drama Deadwater Fell, and 2021 Disney+ TV series Loki. In 2022, Natalie Holt became the first female composer to score a live-action Star Wars project by writing original music for the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
