Jisoo
As a member of South Korean girl group Blackpink, singer, actress, and fashion icon Jisoo brought a sweet and down-to-earth approachability to the globe-conquering quartet, which broke records both in Asia and across the world from the late 2010s into the 2020s. While Jisoo's extracurricular activities kept her busy outside of the band starting as early as 2014, she made her official solo debut in 2023 with the single album Me, which included the tracks "Flower" and "All Eyes on Me."
Born Kim Ji-soo in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea in 1995, she grew up playing sports and loving the arts, joining YG Entertainment as a trainee in 2011. Starring in music videos and television dramas, she was eventually recruited for Blackpink in 2016. Alongside Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, Jisoo scored multiple number one songs and albums in Korea, the U.S., and beyond, breaking records and setting them up as one of the most dominant K-pop groups of their generation. Through it all, she spent time hosting South Korean music show Inkigayo, appearing in shows such as Arthdal Chronicles and Snowdrop, and making waves in fashion with Dior, It Michaa, and Cartier. She also had songwriting credits on "Lovesick Girls" (from 2020's The Album) and "Yeah Yeah Yeah" (from 2022's Born Pink). In 2023, Jisoo became the final member of Blackpink to release official solo tracks with the two-track single album Me.
