Broken Note
Idioma disponible: inglésLondon's Broken Note produces an epic, explosive blend of dubstep, drum'n'bass, and breakcore, filled with aggressive, monstrous beats and punishing bass. Originally consisting of Thomas Southall-Andrews and Eddie Jefferys (also of 16 Bit), the duo released the full-length Terminal Static in 2009, and became mainstays of heavy bass music clubs and festivals throughout the world. Eventually helmed by Southall-Andrews solo, Broken Note's second album, Exit the Void, appeared in 2019. Broken Note first appeared in 2008, releasing singles on Ad Noiseam and two sublabels of Peace Off, Ruff and Damage. Debut album Terminal Static arrived in 2009, cementing Broken Note's status as one of the most intense acts in both the dubstep and drum'n'bass scenes. The Flood EP and numerous singles, including a collaboration with Machine Code, appeared across several labels in 2010. Broken Note tracks were regularly featured in Amon Tobin's ISAM Live concerts starting in 2011, and the duo remixed Tobin's track "Goto 10." Ad Noiseam released Broken Note's Black Mirror EP in 2014. After the label shuttered in 2015, Broken Note began releasing music through MethLab Recordings, and became affiliated with the Slug Wife collective. Second full-length Exit the Void arrived in 2019.
