Alessandro Deljavan
The young Italian concert pianist Alessandro Deljavan manages to blend prodigious talent with great charisma and this combination has brought him popular acclaim with classical music audiences around the globe.
It's been well documented that the artist began his piano studies in 1989 before he had turned two years old which suggests his parents already had plans for his future career. Deljavan went on to study at the Verdi Conservatory in Milan graduating at the age of 16 and from there began to play concerts all over the world making appearances throughout Europe and the United States. At the age of 22 his passionate playing had beguiled audiences at the prestigious Van Cliburn Piano Competition in Texas receiving outstanding critical reviews and this provided the springboard for Deljavan's professional career.
Deljavan has come a long way in a relatively short time and as well as being a successful recording and performing artist he is a professor of piano at the Egido Romualdo Duni Conservatory in Matera, Italy.
