Ron Adelaar

Ron Adelaar (Amersfoort, 1960) is a Dutch-based pianist and composer, performer of (neo)classical piano compositions. Besides that he is A&R at pianolabel Andante Piano (a division of Disruptive Records B.V.) 
Ron had an early introduction to music, as he started at the age of 13 by playing the organ and piano at several churches in his hometown Amersfoort (The Netherlands), all together with his father Ton Adelaar who played the flute. After that, and now for almost 40 years, Ron is pianist and conductor of choir 4U in Amersfoort. 
His passion has always been to create his own contemporary compositions and to share it. In 2018 he started releasing his works and from that point it took a storm with his music. His works ‘Pavane’, ‘Léana’, ‘Adieu’, ‘Laetitia’ and ‘Small Steps’ were included into the largest Spotify editorial playlists Peaceful Piano, Piano In The Background, Instrumental Study and Intense Studying. 
Aside from neoclassical piano composition Ron also re-worked a very special string orchestra composition called 'Adagio For Strings', which he made in 1998 and finally performed and recorded in 2020 by the Ataneres Ensemble. It was released in March 2021 and air played on the National classical radiostations NPO radio 4 (NL) and KLARA (B). 
Ron's neoclassical piano compositions contribute to relax, meditate or to maintain concentration and focus during work and study.
