Tigermonkey
Dance duo Tigermonkey first achieved recognition for their novelty single "Do the Mobot" in 2012. Guy Katsav started his music career as an engineer after studying at The School of Audio Engineering in London. He went on to work with a number of notable artists including the Gossip, Groove Armada, and the Streets. Moving toward making his own music, Katsav was frustrated at the lack of female rappers and was introduced to Madeleine Dunbar. Under the moniker Tigermonkey, the pair created their debut single, "Do the Mobot," for athlete Mo Farah's Foundation -- an organization that provides aid to children in West Africa. The duo described their sound as "Gangsta-Nerd" with elements of indie, hip-hop, trap, and Moombahton thrown into the mix. In 2016, Tigermonkey's song "Zooby Doo" was featured in a Ribena advert, a high-profile ad campaign that attracted more attention for the group. The following year they released "Naught Sesh," a collaboration with DJ, MC, and producer Majestic.
