Siddharth Mahadevan

Siddharth Shankar Mahadevan (born on April 16, 1993 in Mumbai, India) is a versatile film music composer and playback singer who rose to fame for his musical contributions to the 2013 film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, in which he sang "Zinda" – scooping the RD Burman Award for New Music Talent at the Filmfare Awards in 2014 – and a rocky rendition of the film's title track "Bhaag Milkha Bha." The son of film music composer and playback singer Shankar Mahadevan, Siddharth Mahadevan grew up surrounded by music and has also composed with his cousin Soumil Shringarpure, with the pair working together on Marathi-language Indian movie Bogda in 2018. In 2019, he unveiled a new soundtrack EP for the film Swapna Tujhe Ni Majhe, while the following year he released new single "Morya," an Indian devotional song, and maintained a similar religious mindset for 2020 single "Durge Durghat Bhari," a collaboration with his father Shankar Mahadevan and his younger brother Shivam Mahadevan. He switched lanes in 2021 for the trap-flavored single "Yaari Apni Jaari" with Souumil Shringarpure and DAWgeek. In 2021, Siddharth Madhadevan also contributed to the Hindi-language sports drama film Toofaan, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
