Sean Sennett

Australian pop singer/songwriter Sean Sennett and his band Crush 76 debuted in 1998 with the album and single She Said Pop, both of which were sleeper hits in his homeland. This surprise success led to a deal with Festival Records, and the group released the single "The Sun King" within a month of signing to the label. That single and its follow-up "Sometimes Angels" continued Sean Sennet & Crush 76's winning streak, which culminated with the release of their debut album This Boy's Life, which came out in Australia in late 1999, following a US release a few months later.
