Perez

Julien Perez, born in 1986, first came to prominence between 2007 and 2011 with the French electro-rock band Adam Kesher, where he worked as singer and keyboardist. Now working solo under his own name, he offers a carefully crafted pop aesthetic tinged with electronica. While he acknowledges the influence of Christophe and, above all, Alain Bashung, whose 1982 album Play blessures had a profound effect on him, he often confesses that the artist who most inspired him...was the American electronics engineer Robert Moog, founder of the Moog brand and considered the inventor of the synthesizer. After an EP of the same name, supported by the singles "Une autre fois " and "Gamine", he released his first studio album, Saltos, in 2015. Produced and mixed by Pierrick Devin (Fortune, Phoenix) and Jean-Louis Piérot (Alain Bashung, Miossec, Étienne Daho), it also records the participation of Philippe Zdar (Cassius), on the mix for the first single "Une autre fois".
