Mark
Singer, dancer, and rapper Mark Lee – born in Toronto, Canada on August 2, 1999 – is better known by his first name, Mark, and for being a member of K-Pop groups NCT – plus sub-units NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dream – and supergroup Super M. Of Korean descent, Mark successfully auditioned for SM Entertainment in Vancouver, Canada in 2012. As a member of SM Rookies, he made his debut in 2013 and over the next two years, he was involved with several projects including the Korean revival of The Mickey Mouse Club in 2015. He joined NCT’s sub-units NCT U, NCT 127, and NCT Dream in 2016 and made his recorded debuts on songs such as “Fire Truck” (NCT 127) and “Chewing Gum” (NCT Dream). Mark was a contestant on the hi-hop reality show High School Rapper in 2017 and collaborated with Xiumin (Exo) and Park Jae-jung. He co-hosted the TV series Show! Music Core throughout most of 2018 but left in early 2019 and returned to NCT 127. After ‘graduating’ from NCT Dream, it was announced in August 2019 that Mark had joined K-Pop supergroup SuperM and appeared on their self-titled EP and their debut album, Super One (2020). Mark returned to NCT Dream, appearing on the track “Déjà Vu” taken from the album NCT 2020 Resonance. In 2022, Mark’s solo single “Child” was featured on the compilation album SM Station: NCT Lab. Later that year, he appeared on the televised talent competition Street Man Fighter and appeared on the show’s Street Man Fighter, Vol. 4 soundtrack, performing the song “Lit” (produced by Czaer) with fellow NCT and SuperM member Taeyong.
