Lyna Mahyem

French R&B singer and rapper Lyna Mahyem was born in Paris on June 29, 1995. In 2014, she earned her stripes as a revelation thanks to the first tracks posted on the web and relayed on social networks. In a style that owes a great deal to rap and trap, she signed the Avec Mes Laides EP in 2015 before joining the Def Jam France label, which released the singles "Tiens ça!", "Quand je DAB" and "À mes côtés" back-to-back, all in 2016. However, it was her cover of Booba's "92iveyron" that brought her to a wider audience. After the single "Tsunami", she closes her love trilogy (encounter, love and separation) with the track "Over". Her second album Femme Forte (2020), featuring collaborations with Imen Es, Still Fresh, Franglish, Barack Adama and S.Pri Noir, reached number 40 in France and number 10 in Walloon Belgium, thanks in particular to the platinum-selling track "Demain". In 2022, following his participation in the Le Classico Organisé collective, the next Anthentic appears at number 96, and unveils the hit "Mal de toi", in addition to duets with Zaho, Bramsito, Jok'Air and Thabiti. Lyna Mahyem then set up her own label, Ma Belle Music, and released the album Mon Âme (2024), featuring the track "TPMP" and collaborations with Nassi and Numidia Lezoul.
