Laundry Day

A prolific bedroom pop/alternative boy band based in New York City, Laundry Day formed during their freshman year of high school and released a trio of D.I.Y. albums in the late 2010s that merged pop, rap, alt-rock, and R&B, all before graduating. We Switched Bodies, their first album with major-label distribution, appeared in 2022. Independently released in 2023, Younger Than I Was Before was an epic with interstitial skits and a hour-long run time. The mood remained playful on the single "Why is everyone a DJ?" in 2024. Etai Abramovich, Henry Pearl, Henry Weingartner, Jude Ciulla, and Sawyer Nunes got together in 2017 during their first year at the Beacon School in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. Inspired by Tyler, The Creator and Brockhampton, the quintet quickly formed a creative bond, recording and releasing their first two albums, Trumpet Boy and Keep It Right, as well as the Light Up Shoes EP, in 2018. By the following year, they'd completed their first headlining tour and added a third album, Homesick, and another EP, Light Up Shoes 2, to their growing catalog, racking up millions of streams in the process. The band signed with Warner Records and released the singles "Connect 5" and "Worry Bout Yourself" in 2021. We Switched Bodies, Laundry Day's major-label debut album, arrived in 2022. When the group returned a year later with another record, it was without Warner and with the 26-track Younger Than I Was Before (about a third of them were short skits). In early 2024, Laundry Day released an Audiotree Live session, followed by the pop-punky single "Why is everyone a DJ?"
