Guy2Bezbar

Guy-Fernand Kapata, better known as Guy2Bezbar, is a French rapper from Barbès in Paris’ 18th arrondissement. After becoming a professional footballer playing in France’s Ligue 2, he branched out into hip-hop and drill, signing with Guizmo’s Y&W first and then Lacrim’s Plata o Plomo. He made his official debut with the mixtapes Mix-tape Volume 1 in 2015, Jungle Vol. 1 in 2016, and Jungle Vol. 2 in 2017. Over the course of the next few years, Guy2Bezbar solidified his status as one of the most promising artists in the French urban music scene with singles like “Bebeto” (2020), which sparked a controversy after he blocked the Parisian periphery to shoot its accompanying video. Following a feature on Jul’s “Le Classico Organisé” alongside Koba LaD, PLK, SCH, and Naps, among others, Guy2Bezbar dropped his studio debut Coco Jojo (2021), cracking the French Top 10 thanks to singles like “Fendi Love” with Hamza, which peaked at Number 34 on the domestic Top 200.
