Brandon Lake

Brandon Lake is a Dove Award-winning and Grammy-nominated songwriter and worship leader with the Bethel Music collective. Lake has drawn accolades for his collaborations with fellow Bethel artists Matt Redman, Elevation Worship, Passion, and Housefires, as well as for Billboard-charting solo efforts like House of Miracles (2021), Help! (2022), and Coat of Many Colors (2023). A worship pastor at Seacoast Church in South Carolina, Lake released his debut single, "Run to You," in early 2016, which appeared on his first full-length outing, Closer. He issued the single "Pour Me Out" in 2018, and in 2019, he joined Bethel Music and released the stirring "This Is a Move," which was co-written with Grammy-winning gospel singer Tasha Coobs Leonard and took home the Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year trophy at the 2019 Dove Awards. Three more singles -- the bluesy "I Need a Ghost," the worship ballad "Just Like Heaven," and the rousing "House of Miracles" -- appeared in 2020. Lake opened 2021 with House of Miracles (Live), then released two different versions of "Too Good to Not Believe": the live one was a hit, while a duet with Cody Carnes performed respectably. He then duetted with Chris Tomlin on "I See You." After singing on Brooke Ligertwood's "Honey in the Rock," Lake released his third album, the mental health-themed concept album Help!, in May 2022. The LP debuted at number 18 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart. He kicked off 2023 with the Billboard-charting hits "Praise You Anywhere" and "Count 'Em," both of which appeared on the full-length Coat of Many Colors later that October. The LP debuted at number 18 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart. His first outing for Provident Label Group, the album saw Lake fold elements of R&B, classic rock, country, and pop into his melodic worship songs.
