Just a year after the release of his sophomore effort, Brooklyn's SAINt JHN returned with his third album, While the World Was Burning. Awash with hypnotic production, languid beats, and SAINt JHN's alluring croon-rapping, the tight set features production by Murda Beatz, Quay Global, and Fallen, as well as high-profile guests Lil Uzi Vert ("High School Reunion, Prom"), A Boogie wit da Hoodie and DaBaby ("Monica Lewinsky, Election Year"), Future (the excellent "Roses Remix"), Kanye West ("Pray 4 Me" and "Smack DVD"), and more. The top-notch production lends a delightfully woozy flow throughout the LP, but it's SAINt JHN's beautiful voice that really steals the show.
