Fever is the second album of American saxophonist Ronnie Laws recorded in 1976 by Blue Note Records. Ronnie Laws was fortunate to have at his side in this recording project significant support in the person of trombonist Wayne Henderson (founding member of The Crusaders) whose expert advice was a definite asset. We will particularly remember the groove Let's Keep It Together, the calm Fever which rests on an excellent bass/guitar and keyboard support, All The Time with its Charleston touch and coloured keyboards, Captain Midnite and its remarkable rhythmic line of the bass and finally the very good jazz-funk From Ronnie with love. A Ronnie Laws at his best. (Qobuz)
