Sudesh Bhosle

Born on 1 July 1960 in Bombay, Sudesh Bhosle is an Indian playback singer affiliated with the Bollywood film industry. He first achieved recognition for his voice in the 1988 action adventure film Zalzala, singing the song "Holi Aayi Re, Aayi Re Aayi Holi Aayi," and went on to garner acclaim for his ability to mimic actor Amitabh Bachchan, singing in various films over the years including "Jumma chumma de de" from 1991 Hindi-language action crime film Hum, "Meri Makhna Meri Soniye" to 2003 drama Baghban, also picking the he Mother Teresa Millennium Award for his contribution to music in a 2008 ceremony in Kolkata. He forged a career as a professional dubbing artist, dubbing for the late Sanjeev Kumar, and has continued to add to his discography over subsequent decades, taking in action comedies (2010's Golmaal 3), romantic thriller comedies (2013's Deewana Main Deewana) and period action films (2022's Shamshera) along the way.
