Porcelain Black
A cross between Lady Gaga and Joan Jett, Alaina Marie Beaton was born on October 1, 1985 in Sterling Heighs, Michigan. She began her career in 2006 as Porcelain and the Tramps. She became Porcelain Black in 2009 with the RedOne-produced single "This Is what Rock and Roll Looks Like". The song spent two years on the road before becoming a modest dance hit in the U.S. in 2011. Porcelain Black and her gothic clubber persona seduced French audiences in 2014 with the chanted "One Woman Army".
