Olivier Miller

Olivier Miller is a Parisian pop singer who broke into the French mainstream in 2008 with his debut single, "Génération Virtuelle." Citing a wide range of musical influences, from Bob Marley and James Brown to Michael Jackson and Billy Joel, he chose to follow in the footsteps of his father, a drummer in a 1970s group named Trèfle, and devote himself professionally to music. In collaboration with producer Cyril Allouche of the independent Paris-based label Big Broz Recordz, Miller crafted an urban style of pop with a thoroughly modern sensibility. A major-label recording opportunity with Universal Music Group resulted, and Miller made his full-length album debut in 2008 with Génération Virtuelle on Mercury Records. The Allouche-produced title track became a breakout hit for Miller in late 2008, reaching the Top 20 of the French singles chart and airing frequently on the hip French radio station NRJ.
