Jorge Rojas

Born on March 4, 1972, in Cutral Có, Argentina, Raúl Jorge Rojas Bolaños, aka Jorge Rojas, began singing as a child, performing with the amateur group Los Del Cerro. But it was with the folk group Los Nocheros, which he joined in August 1993, that he enjoyed his first success. He recorded eleven albums with the latter, from Con el Alma in 1994 to Vivo in 2005, including Tiempo de Amor in 1996, Ven por Mí in 1997, which featured his first composition, "Como Saber ", and Nocheros in 1999. The group was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in 2000. Despite international success and sales of some two million records, the singer decided to go independent in 2005. He bid farewell to the group at the end of a concert in May at Córdoba's Parque Sarmiento. The singer wasted no time in releasing La Vida, his first studio album, the same year, featuring the singles "Vuelvo", "Mía " and "La Vida ". On the road throughout 2006, the following year he released En Vivo... Gira La Vida , recorded live, and Jorge Rojas, his second studio album. His output then intensified, with Mi Voz y Mi Sangre in 2009, Uno Mismo in 2012, Hoy in 2016 and Mi Cantar in 2018, which featured the single "Olvida Que Te Amado", and Viaje in 2021. His discography also includes landmark live recordings such as En Vivo in 2010 and Jorge Rojas en El Luna Park Abril 2011 in 2012. The Latin pop singer also offered his public two albums featuring duets in 2015, Duetos: Cantemos and Duetos: entre Voces.
