Jennie Abrahamson
Jennie Abrahamson is a Swedish singer from a tiny island in the Gulf of Bothnia called Savar. She began playing classical piano at the age of 5 and joined her first band in her early teens at 13. Embarked on the adventure of an alternative country band, the Swede recorded two albums before moving to Stockholm in and earning a living as a freelance musician. She was spotted by Ane Brun, with whom she toured Europe, and decided to devote herself to a solo career in 2006. She released her first album, Lights, in 2007 on her own newly-created label. After a break in New York in 2008, While The Sun's Still Up and The Sky Is Bright enabled her to make a name for herself in Europe the following year with the single " Late Night Show ". His third album, The Sound of Your Beating Heart, was once again produced by his long-time colleague Johannes Berglund. A big success in Scandinavia, the album was released in Europe in 2012.
