Het vierde album van de Britse pop-rock band is de opvolger van het uit 2008 afkomstige Perfect Symmetry. Keane weet hierop het gebruik van gitaren en de über-popkwaliteit van Perfect Symmetry te versmelten met het grote, piano-geleide geluid van de eerste twee albums, vooral dat van Under the Iron Sea. Niet gehaast door deadlines, deed de band er net zo lang over als zij nodig vonden. De singles “Disconnected” en het epische “Silenced by the Night” staan erop.
