Patrick Bourgeois

Born on June 16, 1962 in Montreal, Canada, and died on November 26, 2017, Patrick Bourgeois was a Quebec pop singer. Together with Alain Lapointe and François Jean, he formed the group Les B.B. in 1986. Between 1989 and 1994, the group released three successful albums. The group's songs " Donne-moi ma chance ", " T'es dans la lune ", " Tu ne sauras jamais " and " Parfum du passé " top the Quebec radio charts. The group took a break for a few years at the end of 1994. In 1996, Patrick Bourgeois launched the soundtrack to the dramatic comedy Karmina . That same year, he hosted the Fa Si la Chanter quiz on Quebec television for a few months. In 1998, he released an album of the same name, with the song " Là où l'amour m'attend ", which made a name for itself on the radio. He released a second solo opus in 2001, entitled Inexploré , on which he recorded his version of Michel Polnareff's " Love Me, Please Love Me ". In December 2003, the B.B. trio appeared on Canadian Idol . A few months later, in the spring of 2004, the group released the album Bonheur Facile , which met with little success. In 2011, the group releases the opus Univers, with the title track, which climbs the radio charts in Quebec. In 2015, the trio celebrates their 25th anniversary with a compilation album and a cross-Quebec tour. The same year, he records an opus with his son, Ludovick. Patrick Bourgeois died of colorectal cancer on November 26, 2017.
